Keyboard and mouse
Intel Server Manager displays the following keyboard and mouse information for the computer:
Keyboard
• Description—The manufacturer and make of keyboard attached to the computer,
including the type of connector used to attach the keyboard to the computer, such as
PS/2, Micro-DIN, USB or DB-9.
• Layout—The keyboard layout selected in the operating system, such as US, French
(Standard), or German (Standard).
Mouse
• Manufacturer—The manufacturer and make of pointing device attached to the computer.
• Connector type—The type of connector used to attach the keyboard to the computer,
such as PS/2, Micro-DIN, USB or DB-9.
• Number of buttons—The number of buttons on the mouse.
• Button configuration—The configuration supporting the user's preferred hand for
mouse usage.
To view keyboard/mouse information
• Click System, then click Keyboard and mouse.
Memory
You can use Intel Server Manager to:
• View information about available physical and virtual memory.
• View memory module information, such as socket type, size, and speed.
• Configure memory alerts
• Set thresholds for virtual memory alerts
To view memory or memory module information
1. Click System, then click Memory.
2. Open Memory information or Memory modules.
To set alert actions for memory
1. Click Configure alert actions for the type of alert you want to configure.
